Rare African Tabu Jasper Pendant, Copper Wire Wrap, Red Stone Pendant, Black Cord Necklace, Handmade, Designer Necklace 18 to 20 inches OOAK

This Rare Tabu Tabu Jasper from Africa is a very nice red, rich and on the earthy side. Finding red stones is difficult, which is too bad. I love them.

The white matrix surrounding the jasper really sets of the chunky look of the broken and healed pieces of red jasper. This was formed when the earth broke up the jasper and recemented it together with the white matrix that you see.

I used this setting to emulate the brecciated look. At least, that was my intent. I used copper, which I gave a hand applied patina to, and I made a black rubber like cord necklace with a solid copper lobsterclaw clasp to go with it.

This fabulous cab is 30x40mm and is 66cts. You don't see much of this material anymore, especially one this large and nice. The pendant from tip to tip is 2.75" (7cm). The necklace is 18" (45.7cm) to 20" (50.8cm) with a red jasper bead for accent.

This necklace is one of my own signature designs, handcrafted and designed by me, the artist.
